Tuition is $3700 per semester, or $6900 per year.
This is what comes with tuition:
  • Housing and utility costs
  • 8 Meals – Tuesday through Friday, lunches and dinners are provided. Students are responsible for fixing their meals on their days off (generally Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
  • Classes, books, and materials
  • Conferences, concerts, camps
  • Transportation from south campus to north campus

Encounter is willing to work with every student based upon their unique, personal, financial situation.   The Student Handbook, page 20, lists the foundation for more information, however, with a simple phone call or email, we will financially adjust so you are able to pay monthly what is best for you.

If you are unsure if Encounter is right for you, come and simply try it out for 2 weeks for free!  After that, should you decide to stay, we can begin working on a payment plan.  Should you decide you want to discontinue your enrollment at Encounter after you have paid, partial refunds are granted (should a student not complete the full year program).  During the first four weeks, a refund of 80% of paid tuition will be given.  Up until the seventh week, the refund will be 50% of paid tuition.  After the seventh week there will be no refunds granted.  A written request for the refund is also required.

How much spending/expense money will I need each month?  Here are some necessary and optional items to be considered when determining financial needs while at Encounter:

  • Gas (This applies only if you bring a car. Many students choose not to bring one)
  • Car & Medical Insurance
  • Dollar bills for Laundry ($1 per load)
  • Cell Phone
  • Food for your days off/Money for any Starbucks addictions/Breakfast foods.
  • Personal Toiletries
  • Clothing, etc.
